It was a lovely surprise and very flattering to be invited to exhibit at Newlyn Art Gallery this summer as part of Cornwall Design: The Art of Making.

Many of you will know it was Newlyn Art Gallery that first brought me to Cornwall - I had the honour of being the Gallery Director between 1993 and 2000. I worked with many world renowned artists and loved curating inspiring exhibitions and collaborating with other galleries. 

I fell in love with Cornwall and I fell in love with my future husband; who being Cornish, rooted me permanently in this beautiful place where we have brought up our family.

I will be showcasing some of my silver chains at the exhibition… they mark the beginning of my jewellery journey that started over 20 years ago and hark back to my early days making sculpture.  

If you’re in Cornwall you might like to come along to the Opening Event on Friday 24th June 6.30-9pm. I’m in incredible company, it promises to be a great show.
