Every Emily Nixon piece is made in our studio in West Penwith, England.

Jewellery sent from England to the USA is subject to a 10% duty. To keep things simple, we cover this ourselves. This means that you won’t face extra duty requests or paperwork when buying from us.

When your parcel reaches the USA, UPS may collect any local state sales tax before completing delivery.

Delivery to the USA

  • 1. Dispatch

    We pack your piece and dispatch it with UPS from the UK.

  • 2. Transport

    Your parcel is transported with UPS to the USA, tracked and insured.

  • 3. Customs

    Upon arriving in the USA, UPS completes the paperwork and we pay the duty.

  • 4. Delivery

    UPS completes delivery to your address.

Resizes and Repairs

If you need a piece resized or repaired, please contact our client team.

  • 1. Return

    We will send you a pre-paid UPS label, and ask you to return the piece to us.

  • 2. Customs

    We handle any import customs, duties, and logistics.

  • 3. Studio

    Once the piece is back in our studio, we will let you know that it has arrived, and resize or repair to your specifications.

  • 4. Delivery

    We will then return the piece to you, in line with the process above.

Returns

If you aren’t satisfied with your Emily Nixon piece for any reason, we offer a full refund or exchange if the piece is returned to us in its original unworn condition within 30 days of your purchase.

Please note that custom and bespoke pieces cannot be returned unless faulty.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is UPS requesting payment?

This will be local state or city sales tax, which isn’t included in our product or shipping price. Your USA import duty is already paid by us.

How much sales tax will I pay?

It depends on your delivery address and state and city rules. UPS (or their online portal) will show the exact amount before delivery.

Are there any other fees at delivery?

UPS may charge a small processing/collection fee when taking local sales tax. We do not receive any of this.

What if UPS asks me to pay import duty as well?

Because we pay the USA duty for you, duty shouldn’t be charged again. If you receive a notice requesting duty, please contact us with your order number so we can resolve it.
