An archipelago is a scattering of islands, shaped by the same body of water. In this design, Emily developed the form of the Nori into a larger, bolder exploration of the shapes of seaweed and the colours of the coast. It is set with mostly Australian sapphires in deep inky greens, warm browns, yellows, with a bright glimpse of blue and white from a Sri Lankan sapphire and a natural South African diamond.
Our Sapphires
Our Sapphires
The sapphires in this piece naturally formed approximately 150—300 million years ago. Each stone has a unique and unrepeatable colour palette, caused by trace elements surrounding the sapphire crystal as it was formed. As a result, each individual piece is unique, with subtle colour variation in the stones. All of our stones are responsibly sourced with strict human rights and environmental due diligence on trusted, reputable suppliers. They are set by hand in West Cornwall.
Our Diamonds
Our Diamonds
The diamonds in this piece naturally formed approximately 1—3.5 billion years ago in the Earth's mantle. They rose to the surface over millions of years to be sourced from South Africa, Botswana, and Namibia, in compliance with the Kimberley Certification Process. All of our stones are responsibly sourced with strict human rights and environmental due diligence on trusted, reputable suppliers. They are set by hand in West Cornwall.
