Nori

Emily first experimented with drying seaweed and casting it into precious metals over a decade ago. The Nori emerged as one of the first refined interpretations of these often wild, bold experiments. Worked from the raw original cast, the shape formed into delicate curls of yellow gold that catch and embrace the natural diamonds. The natural, brilliant-cut diamonds in the 'Crest' Nori are sourced from South Africa, where they are both mined and cut on the outskirts of Cape Town. They are always at least VS2 clarity and whiter than a colour I, combining together into bright flashes of light that complement the folds of yellow gold.

The diamonds in this piece naturally formed approximately 1—3.5 billion years ago in the Earth's mantle. They rose to the surface over millions of years to be sourced from South Africa, Botswana, and Namibia, in compliance with the Kimberley Certification Process. All of our stones are responsibly sourced with strict human rights and environmental due diligence on trusted, reputable suppliers. They are set by hand in West Cornwall.
